Continuing with the theme of attempting to discover the culture of San Francisco, my partner and I have made tremendous progress since the first progress post. Over the past week, we have a gained a noticeable amount of confidence and progress in continuing with blog posts on our personal blog. These lessons I learned this past week have motivated me to keep on track with the project and become more fluent in having new conversations with unfamiliar people.

During this past week, our confidence in interviewing others have definitely improved. At first, my partner and I struggled with talking to people and were very nervous. We were afraid of approaching them and wasted a lot of time trying to pick a person to talk to. This week, right after we got off the train at Civic Center, we spotted a teacher that was willing to be interviewed and hopped on the opportunity. It went much more smoothly this week, as we were able to finish the interviews quickly and even grabbed ice cream after. This is important and leads to the success of this project, because our project is centered around our confidence and what we are able to achieve with it.

Not only did my partner and I gain a tremendous amount of confidence this past week, we also had the responsibility of staying productive and keeping up with the blog posts. Every time after an interview, my partner and I document the experience through our blog. To make the work equal, we both write an equivalent amount of posts for the blog. In addition to this, I take all the pictures for the blog. My partner edits all the pictures and publishes all the posts on the blog. This is essential, as being productive allows me to procrastinate less and makes me a more useful person.
