Let me tell you the story of a taxi driver

He had someone in his car, another busy rider

The driver thought it would just be another drive

Her bag looked full, so he kept an eye on her

They talked and talked, they drove around town

Left and right on roads, on hills, up and down

As the driver arrived, she got off and met with her friends to eat

Then the driver realized that the bag was still in the back seat

Now in this bag were more dollars than he’d ever seen

The bag was as green as a jungle, “There’s a lot”, he mumbled

Picked up some cash like a football, nearly fumbled

Greed influenced him for a second

But the inner good inside had him humbled

He got back in the car and

Drove back to his previous passenger as fast as lightning

It was good timing

Because when he got there, she was looking for it

Returning it was hard. It would have fulfilled his every wish

But the real truth is, the bag isn’t his

Gave her the bag with no desire for a reward

No want for compensation

But what’s even more important

It was a demonstration of integrity
