Stabilized Connectivity: As we navigate through the early days of our build3 Impact Accelerator, settling into a rhythm becomes vital. One of the most essential aspects of our daily operation is seamless internet connectivity. Fortunately, Prashant has made some effective alterations to our Ubiquiti Unifi setup. The use of band steering and channel width adjustments seem to make the most difference, ensuring that our digital interactions are unhindered.

Efficient Meal Management: The previously puzzling case of 32 attendees utilizing over 40 plates was intriguing. It was soon discovered that the actual number of diners was 40 — the discrepancy arose due to unpaid meal costs. Prashant’s refinements to our food ordering application, developed in collaboration with uEngage, now provides clarity on outstanding payments. A simple yet efficient solution — QR codes and signage — streamlined the process further, reminding one of the foresight shown by visionaries like Nandan Nilekani.

An anecdotal testament to our focus on well-being was a member’s realization of the significant difference between our in-house startup Poshan’s healthy offerings and external meals. The noticeable contrast in energy levels and overall vitality emphasized our commitment to supporting our founders’ mental and physical journey.

Embracing Daily Practices: On a personal note, my daily breathwork routine, now in its 20th day, has been transformative. The benefits are manifold — better sleep, clarity of thought, enhanced energy, reduced stress, and heightened intuition. Taking cues from James Clear’s “Atomic Habits” and Tim Urban’s TED talk, integrating this beneficial practice into the daily routine of our accelerator members has been a positive move.

Founder Interactions: A notable interaction for the day was with Ray and Ryan from Oneboard. They’re tantalizingly close to achieving a product-market fit (PMF). We deliberated on potential metrics that could signal this PMF, setting a roadmap for the upcoming months. Their journey, filled with challenges, exemplifies the role of patience and determination in entrepreneurial success.

Personal Growth: An exciting personal update from our longest-serving member, Charlez Kurian John, underscores the evolution of build3’s organizational culture. Charlez has found love in Canada and wishes to relocate. Embracing personal growth and happiness for our team members is paramount. While there may be operational adjustments ahead, we’re confident in navigating them together for a beneficial outcome.

Exploring Communication Channels: Lastly, regular writing has always been a goal. However, the discipline to maintain this was elusive. Taking advice from my colleague, Elton, I’ve embarked on a new routine: a daily 10-minute journaling, followed by assistance from ChatGPT for refinement, and subsequent distribution across platforms like Medium, Substack, LinkedIn, and Instagram. The aim? Attract like-minded individuals to the ever-evolving build3 family.

At build3, we not only emphasize business growth but also individual well-being and personal development. As we progress through our accelerator program, we look forward to fostering more innovations and success stories.
