New York City has a long and storied history of gay bars and strip clubs. The first gogo bars opened in the mid-1960’s and experienced a huge spike in popularity in the late 1980’s. Today, there are more male gogo dancers than female. Tori Elliott reports from one of New York City’s most popular gogo bars.
