📸 In Pictures: Exercise Swift Response

The UK Armed Forces are taking part in one of their largest deployments since the Cold War in a series of NATO exercises.

Exercise Swift Response is a U.S-led multinational exercise taking place in Eastern Europe, the Arctic High North, Baltics, and Balkans. The exercise is designed to showcase the ability of NATO to carry out large ground combat operations in support of its members and allies.

As part of this, British forces from 16 Air Assault Brigade are deployed to North Macedonia. There they are working alongside NATO allies to increase their readiness and strengthen international relationships.
