My Verse

Nothing, to the eyes of the masses.

I am a puny being.

A singular thing, no more.

An empty cocoon, quenched with dismay.

One lifetime I had a wish,

That I too could live freely, let my wings take plight.

But alas, I am dead, and nothing.

To the mass of eyes.
