Introducing Volcà—Better Airdrops and Referral Programs for Crypto Projects
Our team has been working hard past few months and today we’re glad to share with you our new venture — Volcà, a service for growing crypto projects.
We have already released Eth2.io earlier this year, a service for sending Ether to people not familiar with crypto. It has received a positive feedback from the Ethereum community, but we realized that the majority of Ether holders today are developers and speculators.
We believe that in order to be successful and implement its vision, Ethereum needs a lot more users than it has at the moment. Therefore, we decided to redouble our efforts to bring mass adoption into crypto. As a result, we have created our new service Volcà.
What is Volcà?
Volcà combines Airdrops and Referral Programs, as well as unique ‘claim link’ technology, making onboarding more attractive and profitable for non-crypto users.
Volcà strives to help crypto grow faster and reach mass adoption of the technology. Using our solutions projects can reach and connect with an audience of millions of potential users even beyond crypto.
Simple UX + Incentives = Crypto Users Growth
Getting acquainted with a new technology always seems challenging, while the current ways of getting into crypto are still difficult for new users. Thus, we think that simplifying the methods of onboarding is one of the most crucial things to be done right now.
Considering that, we have carefully designed the claiming process of our application, making it easy and intuitive for non-crypto users. It literally requires just one tap to receive the tokens if a user has a wallet. In case he or she does not, the app will automatically bring the user to App Store or Google Play to download and install it.
Another important thing that we have taken into account while building Volcà was the motivation of the users. We think that token rewards combined with airdrops can stimulate the viral growth of the crypto projects bringing new users to the community.
Why Volcà?
So what makes Volcà unique comparing to the existing Airdrop services.
First of all, it is simple onboarding process for new users. Volcà let projects send their tokens to people without wallet. Simple UX of the application makes it easy for new users to set everything up, receive the tokens and start earning more by sharing the referral links.
Furthermore, our solution is non-custodial. We do not store the tokens — the process of distribution is completely trustless and handled by our Smart Contract. This also allows to make referral payouts instant, since they are based on the Smart Contract as well.
Finally, it is cost effective. The process of Airdrop deployment is quick, easy and does not demand any big investments. After the deployment tokens for the airdrop and Ether for the Gas fees are stored on the Smart Contract and can be retreived at any time, while a comission is charged only for the claimed tokens.
How It Works?
Volcà allows any project to quickly deploy an airdrop with their or any other token. However, instead of sending tokens directly to Ethereum addresses, we generate a list of ‘claim links’. This allows to airdrop tokens even to users without a wallet.
Each of the link contains tokens which are transferred to the wallet of a receiver after the claiming procedure. Right after the claiming user receives a referral link which can be shared with other users. When somebody claims tokens using that shared link, the user earns more tokens.
We collect a small fee for a link, only in case it was claimed. Moreover, an airdrop campaign can be cancelled at any time.

What’s Next
As the next step, Volcà team is working on the NFT support for our solution. We think that sending NFT as badges or achivements is a great way to attract more users to the crypto projects.
