Wonderland Update — Q1 2023
This quarterly update will provide a summary of the changes implemented following the approval of WIP #32 as well as share the most recent update of the treasury’s performance.
A Quarter of Change
January marked the implementation of WIP #32. This proposal sought to reduce governance inefficiencies that cost holders both in opportunities and profits, while simultaneously assuring flexibility and responsiveness in a space where these traits are paramount, by empowering an elected team to make decisions with reduced friction.
As a result, six departments were created: Visionary, Communication, Finance, Technology, Operations and Compliance. The departments were led by Sifu, Alice, ruian, Catalyst, Bamchicka and Nal X respectively. For more details about WIP #32, please read the proposal on the forum.
Due to Wonderland requiring a Compliance Officer who is familiar with, and can navigate all relevant legal and licensing requirements, Nal X was asked to step down because of the qualifications the role required. Nal X now works with the Communications department, assisting with moderation, community proposal tickets and the point of contact for collaboration inquiries. Nal X remains committed to Wonderland and will continue to provide valuable contributions to the DAO.

Ecosystem Yacht Party
A community event was recently thrown for the holders of Wonderland’s ecosystem partners, including SifuVision, UwU Lend and Interport. A yacht party was held in Dubai on the 1st of April and free to attend for any verified holders. The Wonderland team had a memorable evening meeting community members and forming new friendships. There will certainly be more community events in the future, so stay tuned for announcements!
