The Bolonminer B11 Breakdown

Overview: The B11 runs on the SHA256 algorithm and mines Bitcoin (BTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH). It has three different models: the 60, 68, and 7TH/S with a power efficiency of 47W/50W/52W/TH respectively.

Electricity & Power: The Bolonminer requires 220V electricity and has a 94% power efficiency rating. The B11 is powered by the Samsung 8nm chip, and consumes about 3120W. The miner is powered by a C19/C20 power configuration and does need to be connected using Ethernet. We recommend hooking it up to a PDU.

With our experience, the Bolonminer actually tripped our PDU, even though it was below the max power consumption. We had to purchase an additional cable to plug into the device and into the wall outlet, so we could pull from a 30amp source.

Price: At the time of this article, the 60TH model is for sale for $4147 USD, and the only official seller of them is YDMiner. The miner comes with a 12-month warranty through Bolonminer.

Profitability: This miner will earn about $6,100 per year at current BTC prices. It consumes about $8 of electricity per day with a $0.10 per KW/h electric rate. So after the cost of electricity, you’d be taking home about $9–$10/per day.

Setup: The default login for the miner is listed below. There are no power adjustment settings once you log in. We set up the miner to mine on F2Pool.
