Voten is a real-time community where users are in charge; they decide(vote) which content deserves more attention and which doesn’t. But sometimes words don’t mean anything without transparency. That is why we are proudly making Voten an open-source project so you wouldn’t have to take our word for it!
Voten wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t because of open-source projects such as Laravel and VueJS. We made Voten on top of them and now we’re gladly making Voten 100% open-source.
“‘Free software’ is a matter of liberty, not price. To understand the concept, you should think of ‘free’ as in ‘free speech,’ not as in ‘free beer’.”
-Richard M. Stallman
Being open-source also allows everyone to contribute directly in Voten’s development. This promises faster development and bug fixes for the future.
Voten’s source code can be found on Github. Feel free to star it, fork it, send PRs and open issues. We’ve also made /c/votendev channel to discuss latest updates.
