At this point our group is focusing on finding out if students are knowledgeable about the voting process. We want to discover common misconceptions as well as how people find out everything they know. From there we can then focus in more on if people would vote if they knew exactly how. Why and why wouldn’t they vote if they know the steps? We also are meeting with Kaycee from Student Activities to find out if the university is doing anything to get students more politically involved, and what the incentive might be for them to do that. We think the face-to-face aspect of our service could potentially be through the university since it’s the most accessible resource to students.
