Julieta Venegas helping us kick off our Brave Concert Series in San Antonio

Last week, Grammy Award-winning artist Julieta Venegas launched our Brave Concert Series in San Antonio’s famed Aztec Theatre, and Voto Latino was on-the-ground to register voters and encourage Latinos in Texas to participate in their country’s democratic process.

The Brave Concert Series is Voto Latino’s 2016 signature campaign, a partnership with Live Nation, that will include voter activations at concerts of some of music’s biggest artists and we were thrilled to begin last week in Texas.

Turn Up for Super Tuesday

Tomorrow, Texas, Colorado, along with 10 more states and American Samoa will hold their presidential nominating contests and up for grabs will be 661 Republican delegates and 865 delegates for the Democrats.

Last Saturday, Voto Latino and Telemundo hosted Turn Up for Super Tuesday at UTSA’s Cafe College, featuring local musicians and artists, using music and spoken word to engage young Latinos to get involved and participate in their primaries.

In 2016, more than 11 million young Latinos will be eligible to vote, and Voto Latino will be online and on-the-ground, highlighting the issues that matter to them and activating American Latino Millennials through creative efforts like the Brave Concert Series.
