Business partnerships, token strategy, marketing, exchanges — these were the main topics of the first AMA session in 2019. Many things are going on and even more to come!

Q: When will IPL token be listed on new and more prominent exchanges?

A: We have submitted the applications to several different exchanges. With some, we are still waiting for initial responses while with others we are already in discussions. Each listing process is different and takes time and effort to conclude. The moment any listing process will be finished, we will announce the new exchange on all our channels.

Q: On which conferences will VFM be present in 2019?

We will be present at different events and conferences in 2019, all with the primary goal to raise the brand’s visibility and generate potential new leads. Therefore, we will focus on events that combine insurance and technology. This year we already presented VouchForMe at InsuranceCom in Zurich, Switzerland.

Q: Do you plan to raise funds from VC’s? How long is your current runaway?

A: The company has enough funds to carry out all current projects. When we start growing our user base, our goals will get more ambitious. And eventually, we will seek a new round of investment to support further growth.

Q: I have read about the token usage at least 3–4 times, but it’s not clear how the token is going to be utilized. The project seems good for insurance companies and people, but not for IPL holders. Would you reconsider the token usage, so that it appreciates with the usage of the product, perhaps some burning mechanisms?

A: The endpoint of the token usage in the VouchForMe ecosystem is to offer services which users can obtain only with IPL tokens. But we have a path to walk until we reach the destination. All crypto related projects hold a part of the responsibility to foster crypto adoption and evangelize the benefits of the blockchain. In this sense, VouchForMe plans to: first, offer payments of the service fee on the platform, secondly, enable the rewarding system in IPL tokens, and finally, offer payment for all services in IPL tokens. For the period when services are offered in both fiat and token, favorable prices for payments in tokens will be implemented.

Q: Guarantors get rewards in IPL tokens. Who provides these tokens?

A: The way guarantors get rewarded differs based on the use case and the arrangement with VouchForMe’s business partners. Possible options include the insurance clients themselves, the business partner, or even VouchForMe in the form of an incentive.

Q: And finally, when will you announce projects with insurance companies?

A: We are as excited about the projects with insurance companies as you are. As we said several times, we are working on all fronts to launch pilot projects with insurance companies. Right now, we are in the final stages of our first project, and we can say we will be live in the next three months.
