Vox Populi PH is a Philippine-based online magazine and review. It aims to normalize critical writing and criticism in the 21st century. Vox Populi PH also aims to amplify the voice of the unheard through writing.

Vox Populi PH accepts works of fiction (short story, poetry, flash fiction), non-fiction (personal essay, memoir), features, journalistic pieces, academic pieces, and review (book, movie, film, etc.).

Submitted works will grant first local serial rights to Vox Populi PH. Copyright remains to the author/s upon publication. Concurrent submissions are permissible, with updated information if the said piece is accepted first somewhere else.

Submissions are always open. Vox Populi PH allows a rolling deadline for all genres.

Vox Populi PH is led by an organization of young writers who want to create new, critical spaces for literature, analysis, and community journalism for readers of all ages in the Philippines. With this, we cannot provide proper compensation for accepted contributions. However, the author/s will be provided with a feature from Vox Populi’s platform (Facebook, Medium, Twitter, Instagram).

In the probable digital publication, the approved author/s will receive a complimentary copy in digital form (PDF and EPUB). Writing tokens (pens and notebooks) will be delivered to our consistent contributors.

Send all submissions to editors@voxpopuliph.com with the subject line: VOX POPULI PH / TITLE / GENRE / AUTHOR’S FULL NAME. (Example: VOX POPULI PH / PARA SA PILIPINAS / TULA / JUAN DELA CRUZ)

Include in 50 words or more the author’s bionote, attaching the said note on the email’s main body.

Emails for approval or rejection will be provided as soon as the proper review is provided by Vox Populi’s pool of consultants. Revision may be required for several submissions. Critiques and revisions from the consultants are not obliged.

Vox Populi PH accepts submissions in Filipino and English. Submissions in regional languages and dialects are also accepted, provided that the author’s translation (in English or Filipino) is available.

Vox Populi PH’s submissions are open to Filipino (locally and internationally). We encourage submissions from the youth sector (students, youth organizers, community journalists, campus journalists, etc.)

Our publication accepts essays in fiction and non-fiction. Journalistic and academic essays are allowed as well. Experimental, non-conventional proses are also welcomed.
