A peek inside the Vault: revisiting Pixel Vault’s gallery
We teamed up with Pixel Vault to create an art gallery/security vault featuring a stunning collection of NFT artworks in Cryptovoxels.

It’s time to revisit one of the most exciting projects from our last year’s portfolio. In 2021, we worked with Pixel Vault to create a brutalist NFT art gallery secured behind a huge vault door.
The building features an abstract architectural style with a boutique art gallery showcasing an exclusive NFT collection, including some notable artworks from Punks Comic & MetaHero Universe.

About the Pixel Vault Gallery project
The client’s goal was to create a Metaverse HQ based on a brutalist architectural design style that could visually stand out in the environment and captivate the users’ attention as they walk through the streets of Cryptovoxels.
At the same time, the client wanted the building to resemble a security vault so it could convey the project’s NFT security storage concept.
We designed a unique building based on a concrete structure with brutalist touches to achieve these requirements. The building exterior features an “upside-down” look mixed with an industrial texture.
To represent the Security Vault identity with a memorable twist, our team designed and modeled a custom megavoxel vault door.
One of the most impactful features of this project is the interior gallery featuring the extensive collection of NFT art displaying Pixel Vault’s work, art style, and beliefs.
The building has five floors in total. Three of them feature Pixel Vault’s most influential art productions from the Punks Comic & MetaHero Universe projects and some notable NFT artworks the client owns.
Visitors can access the boutique gallery using any of the elevators on the first floor, located beside the animated water fountain at the entrance. The users who dare to trespass the vault door and reach the top floor will be able to appreciate the wooden skylight illuminating all the beautiful artworks.
One of the main challenges of this project was finding the best way to adapt the complex architectural design ideas to Cryptovoxel’s virtual world using just the tools provided by the platform.
One particular example was working with the abnormal dimensions of the “embedded” windows in the building that our team could solve adequately and in time.
Undoubtedly, the Pixel Vault is a must-go place for all the fans and followers of Pixel Vault’s art collections, but also for any crypto-art enthusiast who enjoys visiting visually stunning places in the Metaverse.

Founded in 2021, Pixel Vault is an Intellectual Property development group focused on elevating crypto-native assets across various mediums.
Pixel Vault is a big player in the crypto space, building innovative projects and exploring the many possibilities of NFTs, Defi, and gaming. We are glad to have had the chance to work on this gallery with them.
At Voxel Architects, we aim continually explore new ways to make the Metaverse grow and develop even further. Helping Pixel Vault to carry out this project was an excellent opportunity to fulfill that long-time mission.
