AgeTech market is growing, so here is the list of main European events useful for market participants. It’s compiled by Vozrastech and we appreciate all additions and comments to the list.

January, 28–29

AgeingFit Nice, France

https://www.ageingfit-event.com/

It’s more about innovations in elder care, so the program cover both challenges in European care markets, and connected care, innovations in nursing homes and home care etc. Plus pitch competition and exhibition.

February, 5–6

Arctic 15 Stockholm, Sweden

https://arctic15.com/

We are in contact with a lot of Northern European AgeTech startups, searching for funding. So this event is just about matchmaking and dealing with VCs. There are good choice of tracks for startups.

March, 17–18

CareTech Live Birmingham, UK

http://www.caretechlive.co.uk/

The elder care event running alongside with some other interesting ones (dementia care, home care etc.), so there’s a chance to get big picture of AgeTech in UK both from speakers and exhibitors.

March, 24–26

AltenPflege Hannover, Germany

https://altenpflege-messe.de/ap_exhibitors_en

The event for all interested in German-speaking markets — big fair, innovation space, discussion of DVG (Digital supply act) at the conference, mobility etc.

April, 9

Vozrastech — AgeTech Market Conference St. Petersburg, Russia

http://vozrastech.ru/confe2020

The only specialized AgeTech event in Russia, focused on growing of the AgeTech ecosystem and using of best global practice. Cases from startups, care providers, investors, government; market and business discussions, networking and knowledge sharing. The agenda is compact, but 100% AgeTech. There’s also expo of goods&services for older adults.

April, 20–22

Longevity Leaders Forum London, UK

https://www.lsxleaders.com/longevity-leaders-congress

Longevity is very broad topic, but in this case it includes AgeTech too. Interesting set of speakers and we especially love name of the panel «Selling longevity to investors, corporates, policy-makers and consumers».

May, 3–5

International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies for Ageing Well and e-Health Prague, Czech Republic

http://www.ict4ageingwell.org/

We shouldn’t ignore academic research, shouldn’t we?! So the conference is about such themes as aging well, ambient intelligence and independent living, telemedicine and ehealth, and collaboration between research and development.

May, 5–7

Vitalis Gothenburg, Sweden

https://en.vitalis.nu/

As “largest eHealth event in Scandinavia” it’s more about digital health. But if you are interesting in this area of solutions for elders, the agenda will have something for you like monitoring or AI (or both combined). Don’t forget the exhibition with dedicated Smart Homes and Living area featuring plenty of AgeTech companies.

May, 26–28

HIMSS 2.0 Europe Helsinki, Finland

https://www.himsseuropeconference.eu/helsinki/2020/about-himss-health-20-european-conference-2020

Important event in digital health. Special track “Silver Health&Economy”, and some relevant topics in the program from AI to pharma.

June, 11–13

VivaTech Paris, France

https://vivatechnology.com/

Big one. The ”Track for Society” is what we need in conference. And AgeTech could be found in startup competition and exhibition. There are a number of summits for VCs, CEOs etc. too.

June, 18–19

TNW Amsterdam, Netherlands

https://thenextweb.com/conference

We see TNW as the festival which can help to think outside the box. There’s no specific of AgeTech, but there are tracks about its components like SDGs and sustainable society, ecosystems, design, AI, and there are great speakers to listen to.

September, 04–09

IFA Berlin, Germany

https://www.ifa-berlin.com/

Not only consumer electronic show, where you’ll have a chance to see premieres (more care robots and elder monitoring systems, for sure), but good conference for business, incl. AgeTech. And they have special tours for older visitors to see interesting tech.

September, 30 — October 1

Hyva Ika Helsinki, Finland

https://hyvaika.fi/index.tmpl?sivu_id=7998;

Local fair for older adults, with a lot of innovations and events. It’s good place to have overview of Finnish AgeTech and we like it.

October, 26–28

AAL Forum Nice, France

https://www.aalforum.eu/

The AAL programme gives a lot to European AgeTech, so the forum is about age-friendly living through implementing of such tech solutions. Very specialized, a lot of workshops, exhibitors. And it will be nice (Nice) in October.

November, 2–3

ITEC Conference Birmingham, UK

https://www.tsa-voice.org.uk/events/itec-conference/

Technology Enabled Care (TEC) could be seen as another aspect of AgeTech. Last year this event covered VR, robotics, digital shift analysis and guidance, dementia, connectivity to combat loneliness, tech to transform care homes among other topics.

November, 19–20

Slush Helsinki, Finland

https://www.slush.org/

It’s Slush, you know. Well, it’s not only about number of startups and investors, but it’s about being part of the tech world, about inspiration (and numbers). And we will try to make Slush more AgeTech-friendly, but there will be good side events for you anyway.

We’ve made the list based on our research of the events, but we would be more then happy to update it with AgeTech events by your suggestions.
