Start every week with VPCo.’s Starting Five, our favorite highlights from the last week in sports.

  1. Field-level and courtside suite concepts are continuing to grow in popularity as teams either build new venues or renovate existing ones.

Venues find out what their fans prefer and create the suites to cater to their wants/needs.

Price points also differ, but there’s a common thread amongst all of the new concepts: Fans want to be close to the action while still receiving some form of a club-level experience.

Expect for this trend to continue for years to come.

2. The Miami Dolphins are turning the F1 paddock from the Miami Grand Prix into gameday hospitality for football fans.

Check out the article below to learn more about how they’re repurposing the $100M Paddock Club to bring a premium experience.

3. In an effort to enhance digital show productions, Fox Sports debuted its new digital studio, complete with eight movable LED walls, one moveable LED stage and one moveable interview stage with vertical elements better suited for social videos.

More in the article below.

4. Many sports organizations jumped on TikTok when its popularity skyrocketed, especially amongst the next generation of sports fans.

But with questions surrounding the app’s future, brands and teams have to be ready to be pivot.

More below. ⬇️

5. A lawsuit filed by The Brandr Group scared many video gamers who have been patiently waiting for EA Sports’ college football video game. 🎮🏈

EA Sports says fear not as they’ve prioritized the game and that the lawsuit won’t affect its release.

Until next time, best swishes.
