Movistar Barcelona 360 Virtual Reality Fest is the first Virtual Reality cinema festival in Spain. The festival’s first edition will take place in Arts Santa Mònica on February 24th and 25th. The Festival recognizes the quality and innovation of VR short films both at a national and international level and will be structured around different areas: official section, special sessions, a showroom, conferences and various panel discussions.

What is more important is that festival tries to keep balance between local productions and international.

It would have several great case studies, master classes and presentations.

It’s really great to see that more and more events are starting to promote VR as a for of art and have it not only as a showcases, but as a competition programs.
