VRChat 2018.4.3, Unity 2017.4, and the Oculus Store

Hello everyone! We’ve just released VRChat 2018.4.3, which is the first version of VRChat on Unity 2017.4. We chatted a bit about it in our last blog post. Check out that post to learn about upgrading your content and what the new Unity version brings to the table for VRChat. That being said, we’ve got a few more surprises…

We are excited to announce that we are going Live on the Oculus Store! This means that if you’re using the Oculus Rift, you can now play VRChat straight from the Oculus app, without having to go through Steam and SteamVR. We’re very glad to have a presence in the Oculus Store. You might also notice that we’re featured on their front page!

We’ve also updated our media on our Steam Store and Oculus Store pages with a brand new banner and new screenshots. Finally… we’ve got a new trailer! Check it out below.
