I sat on the balcony, feet propped and lit my cigarette.

Today sucked.

My car wouldn’t start so I caught the bus to work in the rain. Then my boss had the audacity to yell at me because I was late to the board meeting which I was hosting. Then home in the rain.

“You’re always smoking them nasty ass cigarettes. Back in my day…” she started.
