Learn how to buy and sell NFTs on the V Systems blockchain

If you have already used our Marketplace, you may have already noticed that bought and sold NFTs can be found under your “Orders,” specifically under “Buy Orders” and “Sell Orders.” Should you need further help to learn how to buy/sell NFTs, then keep reading!
How to buy NFTs
This step-by-step tutorial helps you learn how to purchase NFTs from the V Marketplace.
- Step 0: Visit the V Marketplace and connect your Titan Wallet
- Step 1: Browse the NFTs and choose the one you want to buy
- Step 2: Click on “Buy Now”
- Step 3: Deposit your VSYS tokens
Lock VSYS into the contract to redeem the NFT.
The atomic swap contract window will pop up. Click on “Confirm” - Step 4: Wait for the NFT owner to deposit the NFT
You can always check the status of the order by clicking on Orders > Buy Orders, where you will see whether the Seller has deposit the NFT.
Please note that the NFT holder will have three days to deposit the NFT. Should they fail to do so, you will be able to withdraw your VSYS from the contract once the three days have expired by visiting https://marketplace.v.systems/order
- Step 5: Redeem the NFT
Once the Seller has deposited the NFT in the contract, the label of the NFT in the “Buy Orders” will change to “Redeem”.
Confirm the contract as it pops up in the Titan Wallet window - Step 6: Withdraw the NFT
Immediately after that, you will be asked to withdraw the NFT. Click on “Confirm”
The NFT is yours! It will appear in your NFT section which you can find by clicking on your Avatar > My NFTs or under Orders > Buy Orders
How to sell NFTs
- Step 0: Visit the V Marketplace and connect your Titan Wallet
- Step 1: Check your “Orders” from the top menu
- Step 2: Click on “Sell orders”
- Step 3: If any user is interested in buying your NFTs, you will see here that you are requested to lock your NFT in the contract. Click on “Deposit/Lock NFT” to proceed with the sale.
You will need to complete the transaction by confirming the Titan window requests that will pop up.
Please note that you will have 3 days to deposit the NFT in the contract. Should you fail to do so, the transaction will fail, and the label will change to “Failed”. Step 4: Deposit your NFT and confirm in the Titan window that will pop up
- Step 5: Redeem and withdraw your VSYS
Once your NFT is successfully deposited, you will be able to complete the transaction by redeeming and withdrawing your VSYS to your balance. Please check the status of the transaction under Orders > Sell Orders to complete the transaction accordingly.
Your NFT is sold! Your balance will update to reflect the new VSYS you have received from your purchase. You can find it under Your Profile in the top right corner.
Please note that V Systems will not send you any notification of Buy / Sell orders! Please check the platform regularly to make sure your transactions don’t expire!
