In this weekly report (3rd week of August 2020): The activation height for the Fermat has been reached at the end of last month, currently running in stable status. A contract allowing atomic swaps is under final testing. Tachyon’s node network has grown rapidly with more than 1500 nodes all over the world. The first cryptocurrency to implement Proof of Stake was launched eight years ago today, happy birthday! Please read the full report below.

1. VSYS Blockchain Development

Mainnet Development

The activation height for the Fermat has been reached at the end of last month, currently running in stable status. The latest Fermat release contains three major smart contracts: Payment Channel Contract, Non Fungible Token Contract, and Lock contract.

A contract allowing atomic swaps is under testing. In later releases, cross-chain swaps, or VSYS to token swaps will be possible.

More operation code (such as if, diff, and so on) is being developed. Once done, more kinds of smart contracts can be made.

Utility Development

The V-Cloud service is getting ready to release, providing organisations with an extremely easy way of integrating with the VSYS Blockchain. Blockchain users who wish to quickly and easily set up a blockchain system with pre-built applications can do so using this service.

The development of the first release of V-Cloud Market is almost done. Currently adjusted some functional details. The architecture and functionality of the Database supplier is currently under designing.

V web wallet the feature of deposit/withdraw token and v coin to/from contract is developed and currently deployed to Mainnet web wallet http://wallet.v.systems .

The development of V Javascript version SDK for Fermat contract support is done and published to NPM. Python version SDK is developing Fermat contract support. Other programming language version SDK support for new contracts are being planned.

More Node Monitor Tool is discussing and researching.After development is completed, they will open to public use in the future.
