In this weekly report (Last week of October 2020): V Systems extension wallet will be launched soon. This will benefit the future development of the V Systems ecosystem. A mysterious prediction card NTF game, Octopus, is launching soon. Our weekly report arrangement will have some changes starting from November onwards. Please read the full report below.
1. VSYS Blockchain Development
⛓️ Mainnet Development
The release of new contract features in the Fermat update is finalised and is stable. Users can freely use the designed contracts.
The atomic swap contract has been tested for on-chain and cross-chain swaps, unit tests are currently being written and revised.
The contract system is getting updated to support BigInt operations. Opcode and DataEntry functionality is being expanded for this data type. Expansion of data type support will allow more flexible contract behaviour.
The contract system is also being updated to support if statements, this feature is still a work in progress.
Other Opcodes such as comparison operators and type converter operators are receiving updates.
There are currently several more functionalities in the design stages. The specifics of these functions are not finalised, and will be revealed once they have been concluded.
💻Utility Development
V Systems extension wallet will be launched soon. V Systems extension wallet is a bridge connecting DApp projects. This will benefit the future development of the V Systems ecosystem. Please read the article below for more details.
The V Cloud service is getting ready to release, providing organisations with an extremely easy way of integrating with the VSYS Blockchain. Blockchain users who wish to quickly and easily set up a blockchain system with pre-built applications can do so using this service.
V Cloud is currently developing LUA script systems.
More Node Monitor Tool is discussing and researching.After development is completed, they will open to public use in the future.
2. Community Updates
🐙 Sneak Peek: Octopus is coming, a mysterious prediction card NTF game
A mysterious prediction card NTF game, Octopus, is launching soon. Built using the V Systems blockchain, Octopus lets users obtain Octopus non-fungible tokens (NFTs) through yield farming, and exchange for cards. Stay tuned for more information.
Staking 2.0 Update: Ecosystem Expansion and Distribution of Octopus Tokens
Staking 2.0 has been introduced for almost half a year. 15 supernodes have participated and 48% of Tachyon’s IPX token has been distributed to VSYS users. More V Systems-based projects will join the Staking 2.0 initiative in the future. Please stay tuned for more updates.
