VU Venture Partners Celebrates Milestone Of Two SpaceTech Portfolio Companies, Varda Space Industries and Turion Space, On Their Upcoming SpaceX Launch

Buckle up, space enthusiasts, as history is made this Sunday, June 11th! VU Venture Partners is thrilled to announce the first space missions of two of its SpaceTech portfolio companies, Varda Space Industries (focused on manufacturing Space-to-Earth products) and Turion Space (focused on tracking objects in space, such as space junk, and being the “Uber” in space to help move things from Point A to Point B, or safely out of the way from colliding with space junk). These groundbreaking missions will be taking flight aboard SpaceX’s Transporter 8, scheduled for liftoff on Sunday, June 11th, from Vandenberg Air Force Base.
Varda, a trailblazer in orbital manufacturing and re-entry logistics, will be launching their mission called W-Series 1, or W-1. This mission marks a significant milestone for Varda as it conducts a full end-to-end test, encompassing every aspect from launch to capsule recovery, of their autonomous manufacturing satellite and reentry system.
