VAN DER STUCKEN MUSIC FESTIVAL
When: March 24th
Where: Fredericksburg, Texas
The festival was established in 1991 by friends to help increase appreciation for the life and work of composer Frank Van der Stucken, who was born in Fredericksburg.
The 2018 festival will be featuring a full symphonic orchestra with many know local and national composers. Tickets to the event are free but donations are appreciated.
OASIS ANNUAL EASTER BRUNCH
When: April 1st
Where: Lake Travis, Texas
The Oasis on Lake Travis hosts its annual Easter brunch with its assortment of pastries, omelets, bloody marys and much more! With a view over Lake Travis this is the perfect place to enjoy your Easter Sunday. Be sure to make reservations soon however as this event fills up quick!
LAKE TRAVIS SPRINGFEST
When: April 28th
Where: Lake Travis, Texas
SpringFest is back! Starting at 11am on Saturday, April 28th there will be kids performances, live music, artisan shopping and a Kidzone that will keep the kids busy for hours. And don’t forget to get your new boat for the season at the Boat Expo. Also be sure to relax and enjoy central Texas beer and wine at the BrewHaus and WineStomp tent.
There will also be overnight lodging available in Lakeway and Bee Cave.
FORT MARTIN SCOTT DAYS
When: April 27th and 28th
Where: Fort Martin Scott, Texas
Two days of “Living History” featuring Military, Frontier Lawmen, Native Americans and Civilians representing the fort’s active time period. Each day visitors will experience Flag Ceremonies, Musicians, Military Drills, Storytelling, and Pioneer crafts. There is something for the entire family and promises to be full of history and fun.
HAUPTSTRASSE QUILTFEST
When: May 5th
Where: Boerne, Texas
Hundreds of beautiful handmade quilts will be on display on Boerne’s Main Plaza and along Main St. Admission will be free but don’t forget to browse and shop while you’re at the event. There will be an assortment of vendors as well as numerous quaint lunch spots downtown.
HILL COUNTRY RUN MOTORCYCLE RALLY
When: May 4th — 7th
Where: Luckenbach, Texas
Cowboy breakfast, Hill-Country riding, and nights of dancing and fun. This is what you can expect at the 2018 event sponsored by Optimist Club of Fredericksburg. Proceeds from the Rally help fund the many community and youth programs of the Fredericksburg Optimists.
2018 PROTECT THE LAKE GOLF TOURNAMENT
When: May 7th
Where: Horseshoe Bay, Texas
The 5th annual Central Texas Water Coalition - Protect the Lakes Golf Tournament supports CTWC and is dedicated to protecting the interests of the supporting the community and keeping central Texas lakes pure and clean.
Golf, lunch, beverages and pre-event cocktail party are all included!
