About Ninh Analytics

Hello, everyone! Welcome to my space, where I share my journey of becoming a marketing (data) analytics specialist and advocate. If you are interested in how I combined my passion for online marketing with my curiosity for data science, then you are in the right place!

I began my career as an online brand marketer for multiple brands in Asia. I was always keen on measuring the performance and effectiveness of my marketing campaigns, but I didn’t have a clear vision of how to pursue a data-driven career in marketing. That’s why I decided to quit my job and study a master’s degree in international business in Belgium. I wanted to challenge and reengerize myself with a new life, a new culture, and a new business context, beyond my Asian experience. I also wanted to learn the latest business management knowledge from the business school and my classmates from different backgrounds.

But the turning point of my career happened when I worked on my master thesis on the effectiveness of online advertising. I discovered the power of using statistics and data science to test and explore insights into what consumers think and behave. I was fascinated by the potential of data science for marketing, and I wanted to learn more. So, I enrolled in a second master’s degree in statistics and data sciences at KU Leuven (one of the top programme in the world, 24th at that time) in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. It was not easy, but I overcame the challenges and graduated with flying colors after many “Don’t give up, Ninh!” nights and mornings. Placing my first footprint in the data world, I realized that I had found my true calling: to combine my passion for online marketing with my fascination for data science, shaping my new career.

Today, I am a marketing data analytics professional who thrives on using data to solve marketing problems and create value for businesses and customers.
