How to Participate in the VU Token Pre-Sale
The Virtual Universe Pre-Sale Event is officially extended until July 31, 2018. Please follow this step by step guide on how to purchase your VU Tokens with exclusive pre-sale rewards.
What you will need:
- Chrome Browser
- Any ERC20 compatible wallet Official Identity Document
- Face image in jpg. / png. format
Part 1- Sign up for KYC Process
1.Go to https://www.vutoken.io/ and click Purchase VU Tokens
Click on Get Whitelisted Now:
2. Carefully read through the Terms and Conditions page. If you agree, click on the “I Agree” checkbox on the lower left of the page and hit next.
3. Select your country information from the dropdown
4. Fill out your personal information
5. Then your contact information
6. Only Ethereum will be applicable as digital currency type, you will only have to enter your ERC20 Public Wallet Address
7. To qualify for KYC, you will need to upload one official Iidentity document and a face image to match. When done, click Review.
Acceptable identity documents are:
- Driver’s License
- Passport
- Identity Card
- Residence Permit
You should be prompted to this page and look out for an email from no-reply@vutoken.io confirming your KYC application has been approved.
Part 2- Purchasing VU Tokens
- Go to your inbox and click the link provided to purchase your VU Token. Please note that only those whitelisted can send to this address.
Click Buy VU Tokens Now
2. Access VU Token ETH Address or QR Code
3. Access your ERC20 compatible wallet to send Ether to the VU Token ETH Address displayed in the portal and whitelist approval email
4. Copy the VU Token ETH Address, determine amount to send and Gas Limit and click Generate Transaction
5. Click on Send Transaction
6. Review necessary information and click on Yes, I am sure! If correct.
7. A confirmation message will show up at the bottom of your screen. You can verify and monitor the status of your transaction following the guides provided:
8. Finally, an email will be send to your inbox confirming your participation in the event with the amount received from your account.

Distribution
Please note that VU Tokens will be distributed within 30 days after the conclusion of our Main Token Sale. The Tokens will be deposited to the wallet you indicated as your ERC20 compatible token wallet during the purchase process.

What is the price of one VU Token?
1 ETH = 25,000 VU Tokens
What is the total supply of VU Tokens?
The total supply is 1 billion VU Tokens.
How many tokens will be available to be sold?
150 million are available for pre-sale, and 600 million will be sold in total during the ICO.
What will happen to unsold tokens?
All unsold VU Tokens will be burned.
What is the distribution of tokens?
- General Sale: 45%
- Community and users: 20%
- Pre-Sale: 15%
- VU Team: 15%
- Partners: 5%
What are the minimum and maximum purchase amounts?
We’ve imposed a minimum purchase of 0.1 ETH, which is equivalent to 2,500 VU but there is no maximum purchase amount.
Which cryptocurrencies will be accepted to purchase tokens during the pre-sale?
Only ETH will be accepted, at a rate of 1 ETH to 25,000 VU Tokens.
What wallets can be used during the token sale?
Any ERC20 compatible wallet (eg. MyEtherWallet/ Metamask) can be used for the sale.
Participating will require you to send ETH from your personal private wallets. You should only use an ethereum -compatible wallet where you are the only person who has access to the private keys. Private keys are needed to correctly interact with smart contract functions, such as transferring tokens.

Do I have to use a specific browser during the token sale?
Google Chrome is recommended.
What countries are excluded from participation in the token sale? Do you accept US citizens?
The token sale is open to all countries except the United States of America, China, and Canada. Additional conditions may apply. Please see website and Terms of Sale for details.
Can I mine VU token?
For now, the Virtual Universe VU token can only be acquired during the Virtual Universe VU token sale.
What will the token sale proceeds be used for?
The token sale proceeds will serve the primary purpose of funding continuous development, operations and marketing of VU.
What are the presale and general sale whitelist / pre-registration requirements?
There is no pre-registration.
What are the lockup periods for the Virtual Universe VU tokens?
VU tokens will be locked until Oct 1, 2018.
Will the token distribution date be moved forward if the cap is reached prior to official general sale end-date?
No.
