An abundance of W.

W. was born shamelessly from a fundamental part of me. The initial of my surname. And like the story of the sun, from there a whole solar system appeared. An abundance of W. A publication dedicated entirely to:

  • Writing. Stories of all shapes and kinds. Tiny poems, gargantuan fiction, lengthy pieces of tips and advice. Maybe even a one word scream as we all smash our faces onto the keyboard in despair.
  • Wondering. Answering questions we’ve all asked. And a lot that we haven’t. (Disclaimer; with a physics degree in tow, brace yourself for a lot of cosmic questions)
  • Walking. The stories that unfold as we walk within our own cities, our own homes. The little pockets of universe that are scattered in and amongst where we live.
  • Wandering. The stories that unfold outside of that. A neighbouring country, a neighbouring continent. Perhaps even a neighbouring universe.
  • With. The characters in our story. The stars in our constellation. The people we share this existence with.
  • Word. A word of the week. It might even begin with any of the other 25 letters on offer (gasp!)

Whilst W. began with Wilcox, it encompasses the whole entire world. This is a place for you. And you. And you over there? Do you read me? Yeah, this is for you, too! For your writing, for your wondering, for your walking and wandering and the people wedged within your heart.

W. is for you.

Word out.

In a parallel universe I imagine I’m an astro-archaeologer or an orange cat (either way, I’m curled up on the moon) but here, and forever, I’m a storyteller.
