The most creepy place I’ve worked

During the time I graduated from university, I got a job offer to work in a amusement park in New Jersey. I was quite excited about the opportunity to work in the such pleasure place. But not for a long time, I found I was wrong when I arrived there because I got assigned to a “haunted house”! Actually, they called it Fun House, but I don’t agree with that because there were too many kids bursting into tear when they came out. Sometimes, it was worse that some of kids got lost in the creepy mirror maze and cried so loud for help and called their Mom and Dad. Sadly, none of them knew their kids were crying miserably just because they thought it was “Fun House”. So we always became like a savior led their way and help them got rid of the confusing maze.

It was literally boring to work inside there because you’ve never known what happened outside. And it was very dark, so I fell asleep many times when there were no customers. But compare to other jobs there, the bonus was you could do anything you want like playing your phone, reading a book, singing songs or sleeping (just don’t be caught by the manager ). Some people have asked me if I got afraid of working at the place. I always told them” Yes, I do. But it only happened at the first day.” I got used to the spooky music and atmosphere fast and remembered all the spots of loud noises and clowns showing up. If you ask me whether I would like to go back there again, I will definitely say “ Yes, but only go back to have fun!”.
