W12 just got a letter from the Caribbean island of Nevis!
We received a thank you letter from an amazing place — Nevis! It is one of the Windward Islands in the Caribbean and is part of the state of Saint Kitts and Nevis. An area of 93 square kilometers. A well-known paradox is that over 17.5 thousand international banking companies are registered there, which is about one a half times more than the islands’ eleven thousand inhabitants. The island is also famous for offering residents the world’s highest protection and confidentiality of financial transactions. It also has its own parliament headed by Mark Brantley.
The acquaintance of Oleg Sharpatiy and Mark Brantley took place a couple of weeks ago at the Inaugural Nevis Financial Transformational Technologies Summit 2018. The purpose of the event was to accelerate the transition to the digital economy, providing a platform for financial service providers and representatives of technological innovation to communicate. The inspired speech of the founder of the W12 project will surely be remembered by everyone. The summit participants were especially impressed with our solutions in the crowdfunding and charity markets (read more about them here 1, 2, 3). We are sincerely delighted that Nevis remembers us.
Premier Mark Brentley, thank you for the letter and for your hospitality. We will reciprocate it.
