Carl Cox: The final chapter at Space Ibiza

The island of Ibiza is a holiday paradise 🌴 for everyone but it’s best known as the dance💃 music capital of the world. For 27 years Space Ibiza has been the place to explore a huge variety of underground 🕳 dance music. It’s so good in fact that Dj Mag rated it the #1 club in the world 🌎this year and Waffle gave it an astoundingly HOT 🔥 score!

While most of the clubs have changed over the years, Space Ibiza hasn’t lost the authentic vibe the island was formed around. It has maintained much of its initial glory and charm. I’ve been lucky enough to experience it first hand most often for Carl Cox’s signature Tuesday night and Richie Hawtin’s world renowned ENTER night on Thursdays (which is notably absent this year). But, as they say, all good things (must) come to an end. The club is going into a state of transition with the changing of the guard 😭

This summer is the final chapter in the end of an era and these two nights are for the bucket list ⬇️

Carl Cox — Music Is Revolution

When: Every Tuesday from 8pm

2016 will be Carl’s fifteenth and final season. This year is his longest yet, running for fifteen weeks with one week for every year of his Ibiza journey. To celebrate his years in action, Coxy will be bringing back DJs who are special to the history of Music is Revolution. Yes, I am talking about big headliners like Fatboy Slim and Adam Beyer 😱 And as always, he’ll be sharing his passion for future talent by giving the booth to fresh artists in the game.

Carl Cox has been the Neil Armstrong 🚀 of Space Ibiza. He’s been such an influential person to the success of the club that they’ve honoured him by calling his nights “The Final Chapter”. I don’t blame them. For me, he represents everything that’s good with techno music 🔊 His larger than life personality and energy make it no wonder that he’s the most loved DJ on the island. He’s certainly mine ❤️

Not only that, the quality of the music is second to none along with the vibe you get when you’re there. With such a high level of techno and crazy smoke stage productions, there really is no other place to spend your Tuesday nights! Even the other DJs do!

Elrow

When: Every Saturday from 11pm

The colourful Barcelona brand has taken up residency at Space Ibiza. For me, it feels a lot like Rumors at Destino this year and Pacha’s 🍒 historic Flower Power 🌸

Get ready to travel through a magic ✨ world that you have never seen before. Humour, entertainment, happiness and raw energy together with some of the best artists in the electronic music scene 💪 The sheer number of performers involved in Elrow is just astounding and, for me at least, it really helps to separate it apart from the other nights out there.

Hit ANTS 🐜 first at Ushuaia across the road and finish your Saturday night off strong at Space for Elrow. Many of the same artists at the head of the United Ants Colony go straight there after the day party ends at 12 so you’ve got plenty of opportunity to keep stomping to the likes of Hot Since 82 and Joris Voorn 😉
