Additions to the Team!
We are happy to announce our new developers. After careful consideration we have selected a company with world class blockchain development resources and security audit capabilities. This software engineering group has worked with Zcoin, LUA, TOMO and now CORE. We have something really special being created here at WAIFU with our new dev corps, and we are are stoked to work with them and further grow the WAIFU brand.
A New Type of Auction
Our fourth NFT auction was a huge success! This was an informal collaboration with Blockparty. Although originally we had planned to hold an auction on their website, it became clear that $WAIF currency transfers were impossible on their platform. We held our first private TG auction in our King’s Club room and let users announce their bids over text. Those with 1M WAIF tokens were able to view live bidding up to the conclusion, with @irishllama securing our Rias Gremory artworks at a price of 5,300,069 WAIF. Congratulations to our winner!
Testing a new dApp!
One of our lovely community devs, Mark, has deployed a betting dApp for testing on Binance Smart Chain! Users will be able to simulate wagers on their favorite WAIFU characters. In the future we want to let speculators wager on snapshot results and auction outcomes. There are also some fun possibilities for what we hope to be the inaugural Waifu Wars with a head-to-head showdown of your favorites! Stay tuned for more details on this.

We deployed this in order to test bets for the auction on Binance Smart Chain. MetaMask allows you to connect with BSC and deploy BNB.
There is also a version on TRX which is being tested.

Where is WAIFU headed?
The community wanted to be able to stake their WAIFU tokens and earn NFT’s with them. So we are building just that. You will be able to stake your WAIFU tokens and earn a new token called “HAREM”. Yield farming is a term that we would use, but it would be much more fitting to say that staking your $WAIF to earn $HAREM will let you create a HAREM! The longer you stake the more $HAREM you will earn and you will be able to redeem 5 different tiers.
Ranking them from the most rare to common, we have categorized them as such:
- Heirloom
- Legendary
- Super Rare
- Rare
- Common
Each episode will have a drop of 10 unique NFTs from which there will be a limited amount minted for each one of the categories (details for that and the timeframe for each episode will be coming closer to launch). You can expect high quality NFT work as seen in our auctions we’ve held previously!
This is all the information we can share with you right now regarding creating your own Harem but we will be releasing more information about this over the next coming weeks. One thing we can say is that participants will need a minimum of 10,000 WAIF to be able to stake and earn $HAREM to redeem NFTs. The more $WAIF you have, the more you will earn!
We also have not forgotten about our liquidity providers and we will be sending out some exciting updates for that near the launch of our WAIFU NFT platform.
Speaking of the platform, our entire website from UI all the way to visuals is also getting a MAJOR overhaul. We feel that while everyone should have Waifus, we also believe that having a pleasant UI experience to navigate the dApp is also very important. So look forward to that over the next coming weeks with teasers being put out in our Telegram and Discord. Links at the bottom of the article.

As with any groundbreaking endeavor, obstacles come about during progress. We see these challenges as goals to overcome and won’t let anything, or anyone, change our stance on forward momentum and delivering high quality utility to all the early adopters and future fans.
