Majority of mankind is perplexed with the concept of spirituality and is seeking it through various means like holy places, books, meditation, wisdom gurus often confusing it with religion.

But what exactly is spirituality?

As the term itself have word spirit in it, it implies that every being born on this planet possess an inherent spirituality and have come on the earth to experience human life through the physical body.

Spirituality, at its core, is the recognition of our divine essence – the spirit or divine consciousness that resides within each of us. This divine energy, a spark of the Supreme, permeates our being, connecting us to the higher consciousness. It’s the realization that we are not separate from the divine; rather, we are manifestations of it.

Every being born on this planet carries this spiritual essence within him as a child of the Supreme. While the Supreme is bodiless and beyond the cycle of birth and death, we, as spiritual beings, take birth and acquire the physical body to experience. the complexities of life.

In the journey of life, we encounter fellow spirits or souls with whom we have karmic debts from many births. These interactions provide opportunities for us to settle these debts and restore balance. Until this balance is achieved, we remain bound in the cycle of birth and death.

The ultimate goal of human life is to attain moksha or liberation by spiritual evolution with each incarnation and reunite with our original father, the Supreme Spirit, God.

Spirituality has nothing to do with religious doctrines or dogmas; it’s a universal truth that transcends cultural boundaries. It’s the journey of self-discovery, inner awakening, and aligning with our true nature. While religion may provide a framework for spiritual practice, true spirituality lies in the realization of our inherent divinity and the interconnectedness of all beings.

Religion, often divided by caste and denomination, encompasses various traditions such as Hinduism, Sikhism, Christianity, and Islam, each with its own beliefs and practices.

Humans worship their respective deities and follow their dharma gurus, mistaking them for god.

However, the truth is that God transcends these categories and distinctions, being one and beyond human comprehension.

While Hindus venerate Rama and Krishna, and Christians revere Jesus, these figures, though exemplary, were mortal beings who achieved greatness through their actions – they cannot encapsulate the entirety of the divine.

This confusion prompts individuals to frantically search for answers, often switching from one deity to another in search of desired outcomes. They may embark on pilgrimages, perform fasts and do huge donations, all in a bid to please God.

Yet, if their wishes remain unfulfilled, they may feel disillusioned and blame God for perceived partiality. But god never discriminates among his children and bless each of his child equally, but one has to bear the consequences of his deeds whether good or bad; Just as you reap what you sow, you can’t expect mangoes from a neem tree.

To truly please God, one can simply serve others in need, whether through financial assistance or sending blessings their way rather than following set rituals that everyone is doing.

Since we are all interconnected beings, sharing the same energy, so by helping others, we attract positive energy towards ourselves.

In essence, to connect with our inner divinity, we must look within ourselves, reclaiming the spirituality inherent in our being, which has often been obscured by the trappings of human existence. Through meditation and introspection, we can rediscover our true essence and forge a direct connection with the divine, thereby navigating life’s journey with clarity, purpose, and fulfilment
