Our emotions are like tiny capsules of overwhelming sensations that we carry close to our hearts.

Every interaction, every encounter, leaves its mark — a bittersweet echo of how we were made to feel.

A warm smile from a stranger, a friend’s shoulder to cry on, a cutting remark from a classmate — positive or negative, these moments lodge themselves in our memories.

Our actions and words might fade with time, but the emotions they evoke linger on.

There is No Reason to Make Our Fellow Humans Feel Less

What I’m trying to say is this.

How do you want to be remembered?

Do you want to be remembered as someone who always scorned, or someone who always loved? Someone who always frowned, or someone who always smiled?

Whenever we look back at a memory, all the feelings and emotions that existed during that time rush back to us as if we were living it now. Therefore, the goal is to make others feel good.

But more importantly, the goal is never to make anyone feel bad.

Because in truth, there’s no reason to add to the negativity in the world.
