Last week, I reached my first medium milestone — the 100th follower.

As a hobby writer and generalist, I wrote whatever I liked, and surprisingly, you accepted most of my crafts.

Now, I feel gratitude.

If you’re looking for a tip in this story, I’m sorry my friend, but there are none.

I am still building those genuine and appealing pieces of advice that will help you in your future endeavors.

I am yet to discover the mysterious word - ‘Niche

But if you ask me how it feels to receive validation from others, then I may shed some light.

Being an introvert, I like to talk less and write more.

  • The value of human connection has always been a myth for me.

However, when someone enjoys my writing, it makes me happy and gives me a sense of belonging.

  • Validation from others reinforces our self-worth. It says, “Your feelings matter, and you’re valued.”

This fuels motivation.

  • Another important aspect of validation is building relationships. In our case, you as a reader and I as a writer.

I write my story as a conversation between two people.

For instance,

I am sitting in a coffee shop on a lazy afternoon or late evening, getting lost in my own thoughts.

And you just walked into the shop alone, either after a long day or in the midst of a tight schedule.

We already met somewhere in this vast universe consciously. It doesn’t matter whether we have seen each other’s faces.

But I believe you share my belief that we are the most important species on this planet.

You are the best; there is no doubt about it, and you deserve the best.

On the other hand, I am mediocre at best and am on my way to writing that precious piece of advice or the emotion that resonates with you.

Final thoughts

Sometimes it feels like the entire human race has an endless hunger for validation.

Whenever you write or do something, you expect validation by default. I am no different.

Thanks again for being a part of this wonderful journey of mine.

Feel free to clap, respond, and follow.

Have a nice day
