I just wonder at their power to overcome the harsh reality

I feel overwhelmed by the amount of grief in human life. Some of us remain simply stuck in the moment while others find energy from within to surmount the deluge of miserable feelings by adapting to the changing course of winds in their lives by the sudden loss of their loved ones.

What we once enjoyed, and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes a part of us.”

Helen Keller

Do we have the capacity to wipe the tears flowing down their cheeks? How far can we go to render help to the grieving hearts?

We may present a variety of ways to assist them in coping with the pain but ultimately it depends upon how they themselves react to the changing patterns of colours on the canvas of their lives. It is their sole journey towards mitigation of loss that defines their lives.

I feel an urge to alleviate their pain to some extent by responding to their stories with empathy to convey that they are not alone in this world. Doing this can be beneficial to both – the giver and the recipient.

The experiences of strong people who waged solo battles with adverse circumstances dwarfs our own efforts to retain our equilibrium. They are a source of inspiration for us all to overcome the fear and negativity. Their strength infuses a spirit of hope and love in us which is a paramount element in the process of maturity to adapt ourselves accordingly.

We are powerless in the face of Inevitability of death which is a harsh fact. Each day we try to make ourselves busy in more and more productive activities. Each day we search for ways to navigate through rough terrain. It is a constant process.

We make efforts to explore and find the things that pleased us in childhood. A child attains pure happiness by creating magic with the brush, sketching, arranging pics in a scrapbook under suitable titles, just getting drenched in rain or splashing in a puddle of water. A soul searching leads us to the dawn of realisation that the pursuit of happiness lies within to enjoy the small moments like a child.

We have got into the serious business of getting old forgetting to search for tiny bits of joys. We have to figure out a balance between the gravity and triviality. Life is not all dark, it has bright hues that shine like a beacon of hope and trust in our own souls.

They that love beyond the world can not be separated by it. Death cannot kill what never dies.”
