Work culture needs to be friendly, not an enemy.

I was just scrolling down my phone today, and I read some news about how a young, talented man committed suicide due to a toxic work culture.

We all know how the rate of competition is rising and, in fact, how bad it has actually become. People with good degrees and talent are just waiting in the queue for their turn, but the line seems endless to many. Whoever somehow gets a chance is still not satisfied. Why? Because in the name of competition, their labor exploitation is happening.

There are many countries where the work culture is already so pressurising and the heads are still planning to extend working hours and compromise breaks. I don't understand if they won't allow a recreational and refreshing time for the worker. How would they expect more creativity and productivity from them? If they themselves think they need some time for their family, why don't they think that the other person also has a family or a personal life?

In the race to get more and more, they are not realizing that the work culture is not only pressurizing but becoming toxic, not only because of long working hours but also because it is creating competition among the co-workers, and this kind of competition is not healthy at all. Why? This type of competition ultimately gives room to emotions like jealousy and hatred and hinders virtues like harmony and cooperation, which are really needed for the growth and development of any institution or organization.

This is the reason why today no one wants to work under someone's hand and instead opts for startups and their own businesses, but again, if anyone wants to do his or her own work, he or she still needs some assistance that will be fulfilled by hiring some other person with talent, so the circle itself repeats; there's no escape from it. A person needs to critically understand that if he is someone who is hiring, he needs to consider the human aspects of work culture as well, and at the same time, if he is someone who is seeking work, he should prioritize work ethics and do his job with full honesty and loyalty.
