Now that we are moved in to our temporary location at Town Center East, Building 3 in Tumwater, we are happy to announce that patrons can once again check out and return books! Curbside service hours have not changed and will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. We remain closed to visitors while we await the completion of our offices on the first floor of TC3 (that’s what we call our new digs). In the meantime, patrons can use our curbside service to check out titles that we brought with us to our new location. Please review our Library Services Guide to learn about other services the library provides.

A purple and white sandwich board sign is placed next to a green lamppost in front of the entrance to a building. The address on the building reads “Town Center East 3, 243 Israel Road S.E.” The sign reads, “Washington State Law Library, Curbside Service. Park Here. Call (360 357–2136). Washington Courts.”
You can check out books and receive them curbside at our temporary location.

If you are searching for materials in our online catalog, you can limit your search to items that we have in the TC3 collection by doing an advanced search and clicking the Town Center and Town Center Reference boxes on the Shelving location tab. Alternatively, once you have performed a search of the entire catalog, you can use the filters in the left column to limit your search results to items at Town Center. You can learn more about searching our catalog and placing holds on materials here.

A screen shot from the library’s catalog is shown. There are red arrows highlighting the “Advanced Search,” “Shelving location,” “Town Center,” and “Town Center Reference” fields.
