New to the Collection: American Bar Association Publications

The Washington State Law Library frequently updates our collection with new legal treatises. We recently added books published by the American Bar Association on a variety of topics including police reform, abortion law, and photography law.

These books are available for checkout during our curbside service hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Contact the reference desk at Library.Requests@courts.wa.gov with questions or to place a hold on a book.

Internet Legal Research on a Budget: Free and Low Cost Resources for Lawyers, Second Edition (2020). Authors Judy K. Davis and Carole A. Levitt help legal researchers save time and money by sharing websites, apps, blogs, and other low or no-cost resources.

Military Discharge Upgrade Practice Manual (2021). Called life changing by reviewers, this manual guides attorneys representing “veterans who unjustly received less-than-honorable or other stigmatizing discharges.” The authors, Margaret Kuzma, Dana Montalto, Elizabeth R. Gwin, and Daniel L. Nagin, work with veteran’s legal services programs.
