Falling coconuts, Buddhist temples, all sorts of wild animals and miles of bicycle friendly roads through the jungle: Welcome to Bang Krachao, a pollution free area along the Chao Phraya River.

The pier found at Wat Klong Toey connects ferries to this part of the city. The ride is quick and costs, along with a cycle to move around the area, 80 Baht.

There is Siamese Fish Fighting School which opens only on Saturdays and Sundays. It lies before the start of the main area. As you enter the main area, you will be greeted by dense canopies, swamp lakes and different kinds of plant species depending on the area you are in.

Small gateways to internal forest areas will keep make you stop your bicycle along the trail. There is bird watching tower where you take a look of the full area and if patient, can also spot a few exotic birds.

In the end you can delight yourself at the Coffee Shop and relax after a day of cycling in one of the most humid parts of Bangkok.
