Tilac, the star of Soi Cowboy

Tilac Bar Bangkok is one of the largest and most modern looking bar on Soi Cowboy, the famous street at the Asoke Road. One of the best gogo in Bangkok, it is known for its skimpily dressed girls dancing on glass floors, so that you can perv (cancel) see up the skirts. The concept of barfine is in which you can take the girl outside the bar in working hours. Generally as you take a seat in the bar, a girl will come and entertain you as you buy her a lady drink. The girls are younger and white skinned.

Though visited by Westerners and Asians, I found the gogo dancers too pushy for drinks. Also, the staff was grumpy who scowled in my general direction when I refused to buy drinks.

One can go and relax as the girls sway their body in front at the poles and otherwise on western songs. This is one of the many such gogo bars on Soi Cowboy street.
