“Hi Dad, I haven’t heard from you for a long time.”

I am a naughty girl, also stubborn but lovely. I have been “home” for one and half a year and feel just right having Father at home.

Dad has walked me through many things, such as surviving several times of depression, finding a new interest to invest in for a living, and enrolling graduate program for translation and interpretation. Now He is the one who never leaves me alone.

I thank Dad for giving me my birth mother and father, although we did not have much time together. I grew up just like my mother, who was kind and always had empathy for others. However, I am also like my mother lacking confidence and frequently getting depressed. As a whole, I have become a complex girl, and I am doing all my best to change myself for good.

To organize my thoughts better, I decided to write down my journals with Dad- I love to call God Dad- and hope I will receive Dad’s response someday.

I am living a life with some illness, liver cancer, stage Ⅱ, and C spine injury, depression and anxiety. I am writing down my feelings and improvements as my footprints of life and hope to inspire people as well.
