Author Outreach: Which Blurb is Better? And Why? Help Me Out!
Anyone able to help me out with getting a better blurb? Which of the three do you think is better for my novel?
NB: For each of the three ebook volumes, the ‘skeleton blurb’ here will be pasted in, with an extra bit describing the specific action of the volume in question. For example, ebook I contains the skeleton blurb, then this text is also pasted immediately after it.
VOLUME I: The bipartisan Republican/Democratic establishment will not permit any internal dissidents to spoil their agenda; so Saul and Deborah must be purged. Otis and a special friend of his quit their shill media jobs. And Bubble’s reckless surge towards the Republican nomination begins with bang… if you want to put it that way!
Here are the three blurbs. I’m interested, first and foremost, in which is the strongest blurb. Although if you have any thoughts on the weakest blurb, that’s great too!
The USA slides ever deeper into tyranny, as the MIC and corrupt-as-hell establishment politico class seek to entrench their privileges ever deeper. Can Adolph Adams, Deborah Mona Willow and Dr Saul Friedman roll back the tide? A gripping “pre-Dystopian” novel of a once proud liberal democracy in serious decline.
In the near future, a battle of political wills stirs the hearts of many, as the presidential nomination contests begin.
Senator Bubble and the establishment are plotting to fortify the current bipartisan consensus of eternal war.
Libertarian dissident and disgraced Republican Senator Dr Saul Friedman implores his old friend Adolph Adams to run for the Democratic nomination.
But is there any hope at all that Adams can roll back the tide of interventionist barbarism?
He certainly faces some truly formidable and cunning foes, who will not relinquish their privilege lightly.
He is caught between a rabble-rousing firebreather Republican Frontrunner, a hideously callous Democratic leader and various cynical, unprincipled, talented mediocrities.
Ultimately, it is not so much the career of Adolph Adams that is in peril, but his very life!
Is our hero destined to join the swollen ranks of the notorious ‘Bubble Body Count?’
Caught between a rabblerousing Republican demagogue and a callous, conformist Democratic establishment, can Saul & Deborah help Honest Adolph win the nomination?
