Arnold Boyle will be using his 13 years of experience in architecture to help homeowners across the Jersey Shore create their dream homes.
Boyle is a graduate of the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is also a member of the Jersey Shore chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). His talents won him recognition as Young Architect of the Year Award by the AIA Jersey Shore Chapter.
The new architectural division of Walters Homes that Boyle leads will give people new opportunity to make their custom homes even more unique. From the moment they sit down with their designer, they’ll know they’re in good hands.
“By offering in-house architectural services we can work more closely with buyers and make the custom home building process a stress-free experience,” said Matthew Gaudet-Walters, a Walters sales associate. “Arnold is able to help buyers envision the possibilities and provide design guidance until the concept of their custom home is complete.”
New homeowners can work directly with an architect and collaborate to alter pre-designed homes or build a completely new design. This offers them a whole new level of ownership over their houses.
“What we’ve seen in the last two years is that there is a true need for custom homes as people are moving away from the cookie-cutter models built in the 80s and 90s,” said Boyle. “The Walters team takes a more thoughtful approach to design, and they’ve found a way to make custom homes affordable. So, from my perspective, it’s exciting to be designing custom homes for the average homebuyer.”
Working one-on-one with an architect also makes it easier to carefully craft each structure to match its lot.
“Every lot is unique especially when it’s waterfront property,” said Boyle. “When designing a new home, there needs to be balanced between the particular needs of the client and the requirements of the site. I get involved early on to analyze their site, determine state and local regulations and then sketch a preliminary plan.”
