To say the past weeks have been eventful will be an understatement. October has truly been a delightful month for the WAM community. Not just because we’re not just attaining significant milestones, but also because we’re breaking boundaries in the crypto gaming world.
From important nominations in the gaming world to winning awards. Yes, you got that! Eager to catch up?
Let’s fill you in on what we’ve been up to.

The 5th edition of Future Blockchain Summit — the MENA region’s first and largest blockchain conference and exhibition took place from 10th-13th of October at Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC). This summit featured professionals from the industry and brought together international investors in artificial intelligence, fintech, blockchain, amongst many others.
The WAM team was represented in this conference by Dani Tamas (CEO), Alex Rus (CBO) and Vlad Mustatia (CTO). It was a great opportunity to connect and interact with the team members about their plans moving forward.
Yayyyyy! WAM was awarded at Webstock for the Best Application Category. Being recognized as the best original project and most innovative campaign amongst several others in Romania is a great honor. Here’s a big congratulation to the entire WAM team for all the hard work put in, while bearing in mind that a win for the team is a win for the entire community.
Again, congratulations are in order because from being nominated, and competing against 44 countries, it is with great joy that we announce that WAM is the top Blockchain Frontier leader in the 2022 SuperNova Start-up Pitch Challenge. This is a major win for the WAM community as this win was only made possible without your unflinching support.
The good news does not just stop there — WAM has been nominated for the Top Blockchain Game of the year in the European Metaverse Awards, a pioneering award focused on actionable business opportunities in the Metaverse, with a unique focus on the European ecosystem. Excited about the high prospects of winning this award? Well, so are we!
WAM has also been selected as a finalist in the 5th edition of the Aurea Awards. This is a leading European award in VR, AR, XR, MR, and immersive entertainment. To be a finalist in this award goes to show that all the hard work put into this project does not go unnoticed. This award will take place on the 1st — 2nd of December at Europa Park, Germany.
As always, to provide premium service that guarantees users of an ultimate user experience, updates are regularly made on the WAM platform.
Some important updates should be taken note of include:
1. The new users will no longer need to verify the email address to access the Rewards Center. This means they will be able to collect the welcome gift and the daily rewards without having the email confirmed.
However, for maximum security, email verification will remain mandatory when:
- the user wants to see his wallet
- the user wants to see his profile
- the user wants to withdraw
2. The Sign-in button will be replaced with ‘Join WAM’
3. Lastly, a fix for the Rewards Distribution Status feature which currently shows the distribution in progress for some of the tournaments that have been distributed.
