October has been an eventful month in the WAM community. Safe to say that it has been a season of attaining significant milestones, being nominated in several key categories and winning major awards.
To be recognized for all the hard work put in simply shows that the team is spot on in their mission to ignite mass crypto adoption.
Here are some exciting progress reports:
- The WAM team were guests at the just concluded Future Blockchain Summit that took place from the 10th-13th of October at Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC). In attendance were Daniel Tamas (CEO), Alex Rus (CBO) and Vlad Mustatia (CTO). This conference featured professionals from the industry, as well as international investors in artificial intelligence, fintech, blockchain, amongst many others.
- At this conference, WAM won the top Blockchain Frontier leader in the 2022 SuperNova Start-up Pitch Challenge.
- WAM was awarded at Webstock for the Best Application Category. It was a great honor to be recognized as the best original project and most innovative campaign amongst several others in Romania.
- WAM won the Top Blockchain Game of the year in the European Metaverse Awards — a pioneering award focused on actionable business opportunities in the Metaverse, with a unique focus on the European ecosystem. For this award, WAM competed along with some of the biggest names in the gaming industry — Sky Mavis (Axie Infinity) and Star Atlas. This award ceremony took place in Berlin, Germany on the 27th of October 2022.
- Slush — the world’s leading startup event has nominated WAM as part of the top 100 of Slush 100 after reviewing over 1,000 applications. This event will take place on 17th — 18th of November at Helsinki, Finland.
- The 5th edition of the Aurea Awards — a leading European award in VR, AR, XR, MR, and immersive entertainment — has selected WAM as a finalist in this edition. The award ceremony will take place on the 1st — 2nd of December at Europa Park, Germany.
