Purity Mukami

Purity Mukami is a data scientist who specializes in making data more visually appealing to audiences. She is based in Nairobi, Kenya.

Purity currently works at independent investigative media outlet Africa Uncensored. She began her career as a lecturer, teaching mathematics units such as calculus, statistics and architectural mathematics in various Kenyan universities. She has since learnt, and practices making data more visually appealing using Excel, Tableau, Power BI, R and Flourish. Additionally, Purity can competently trail money, investigate social networks and draw useful insights from large data sets using statistical methods.

Purity has an MSC in Applied Statistics from JKUAT and a Bsc Mathematics and Computer Science from JKUAT.
