Ruth Atim
Ruth is a journalist and works for the Refugee and Media Migration Network (RMMN) as a Sub Editor. It’s an online platform that publishes articles on Refugees and Migrants.
In 2019, Ruth was shortlisted as a finalist at the Isu Elihle awards in Johannesburg for her story idea on “Trauma faced by Refugee Children.” She is also a founder of the Gender Initiative-Uganda, an organisation that trains female journalists and other Human Right Defenders on digital/online safety.
