Funding opportunity for women and non-binary journalists
The International Women’s Media Foundation is accepting applications for the Kari Howard Fund for Narrative Journalism to award annual grants in support of proposals to report and publish compelling human stories. Grants will be for a maximum of $5,000. Projects reported and published in English anywhere in the world are eligible.

Fellowships for journalists to cover UN biodiversity conference in Colombia
Earth Journalism Network (EJN) has a fellowship for journalists interested in covering the UN biodiversity conference in Cali, Colombia.
The UN Convention on Biological Diversity will be held from October to November 2024.
The fellowship will strengthen journalists’ reporting on biodiversity issues and draw attention to the impacts of biodiversity depletion.
EJN will cover non-refundable economy-class airfare, accommodation, meals, travel medical insurance and ground transportation costs related to the in-person fellowship participation.
