New integrations! Wanchain network upgrade coming on April 15th
The Wanchain team is happy to announce that two more blockchain networks are joining the Wanchain crosschain infrastructure very soon! But first, we will have a Storeman agent upgrade this coming Friday!
This upgrade will take place at 3:00 UTC, April 15th, 2022.
What regular users need to do
As with all Wanchain network upgrades, the only thing you need to do is plan ahead! While Wanchain’s Storeman node operators update their nodes, crosschain transactions will be unavailable on Friday this week. The Wanchain crosschain service will be paused from a couple of hours to at most a whole day. So, please keep an eye on Wanchain’s official Twitter account for up-to-date announcements.
What Storeman node operators need to do
Storeman node operators must upgrade to Agent version 3.7.0 as soon as possible on Friday this week (right after 3:00 UTC, April 15th, 2022). The Wanchain team has once again prepared a simple update script to make the process as smooth as possible.
The update script is:
cd ~/osm/
./startStoremanV5.shAs a reminder, Storeman node operators that fail to upgrade their nodes in a timely manner will not be able to perform and verify crosschain transactions.
